WHAT IS THE MSXVR PROJECT?

It is a meeting place where you can hang out, be entertained and promote learning. The project was born in 2018 and until now, there was only one way to interact with the MSXVR universe, through the MSXVR "Virtualizer". A computer with a retro appearance, compatible with MSX systems, which arrived in users' homes at the end of 2020 and of which we are trying to put new, updated units on sale again, with a revision of the board and the SBC. The project has been offering support and content for its users since then, however, the reactivation of "Virtualizers" stock is taking longer and we wanted to look for a double solution with the MSXVR "Pocket". On the one hand, offer a different, much more economical product that allows access to the system and on the other, that would be available to all users in the shortest possible time.

WHAT IS AN MSXVR “Pocket”?

It is a computer and portable console, all in one, with a retro look and appearance that is reminiscent of the beloved portable consoles of the eighties.

This device comes with an operating system and a set of tools to develop games and applications in different languages ​​and systems. It includes software to browse the Internet, draw, create music, etc. In short, a workstation where you can enjoy both third-party and personal development.

The MSXVR environment aims to entertain while promoting learning.

Along with the computer, a whole system of applications is delivered that will allow you to play, design, program and learn. This system can be updated online, connecting either via Ethernet cable or Wi-Fi from your MSXVR. Always in constant evolution, offering improvements and bug fixes.
